Question Wheel and Oil sign for couple of seconds in the second position of the car key

Good Day,

I bought Mitsubishi Lancer 2011 1.5L 3 weeks ago and I have changed engine oil; transmission oil, the relevent filters and fuel filter.

The thing that keeps turning on the dashboard when I turn the key to the second position before the ignition is a warning sign that goes off after two seconds.

I took it to the place where I did my fluid changes and they told me it doesnt need a fluid change as it comes from the factory. I later took it to an electric and he couldnt find explain the showing on the dashboard and still chanrged me $25 :/

I want to know if from your experience you have an idea why its lighting and then disappearing.

The car has 45,000 miles (72,000 km) and the steering wheel is not stiff its easy to control.

Thanks you.

The first is an airbag check and or fault. The second is just the oil warning "lamp" so you are sure it is working. As long as they don't come on when you are driving, I wouldn't worry.

I want to ask you guys about the steering wheel.
This place I went to looks really good and professional, but regarding them saying that this car doesn't need fluid change for the steering wheel is that correct by saying that it comes from factory and it is never needs replacement?
Its normal that steering wheel cannot rotate when the car is not on?

Thanks and regards

Your steering wheel locks when the key is off.

Am I misunderstanding your questions or are just f**king with us?
