boost leak/acceleration issue?

Hello everyone, I am really hoping to get some useful feedback on this issue I'm having...I apologize in advance that its really not gonna be the best description of the issue, and like most everything else, you'd have to hear/feel it (while driving of course) for yourself..my issue at hand is my evo 9 stops responding to the throttle once I hit about 6-8 psi, yet im tuned on a 3-port boost controller by RoadRace Engineering at 25 psi...car had zero issues or signs of anything, literally nothing happened or changed and now its acting up very strangly...the gear im in has no effect on it. I have checked all my vacuum lines and all my connection points for my intake and ic piping. idle is fine, air/fuel is still perfect, oil pressure is normal, driving in vacuum is fine...I did however install a 12" mishimoto electric fan, but that was quick and simple...and I'm willing to bet that that shouldnt effect boost...anyways, based on that confusing info, any thoughts of where i should start checking to see whats wrong or what needs to be fixed or replaced? thank you in advance to anyone who can help.
