Connecting rod Assy size issue 2009 lancer DE
Hi all,
I have bought a Connecting rod Assy at my local Mitsubishi dealer for my 2009 lancer DE, but the connecting rod that they sold me was to short, compared to the old one.
When we put it the engine block we see that the head of the piston doesn't reach the top at all when turning
The product number they sold me is the same as another site that has 1115A068 part #.
I measured the old connecting rod from top to bottom in the middle and it measures 7 3/4 of an inch also put them side by side.
What i also noticed on the connecting rod that they sold me is the #24 engraved in it and all the current rods that I have in the engine have #20 engraved on them and also a 'U'.
On the engine block I saw the numbers:
500974
13-16993
BBBB 22122
00414311 101 A
Does anybody know where I can buy this connecting rod?
Thank you in advance
