Need a little help

So i have read a lot of post regarding overheating and i am having an issue myself but let me give a little background on what i have done so far. I replaced the alternator and belt, thermostat, new battery connectors with fusable amp, new control fan module.
The fans came on and appeared to be running fine but quit after about five minutes and now I'm overheating again. Could this be the temp sensor or is there something I'm overlooking? Thanks in advance

It sounds a lot like a temp sensor to me. It could also just be the water pump going out. I'm not sure how many miles are on your engine.

I think so? I haven't done my timing, alternator and power steering belts yet. They're a bit over due so I may be doing them soon. If you replaced the alternator you probably should've just did the timing belt and water pump while you were in the area. You could start with the temp sensor and keep your fingers crossed.
