positive battery terminal with fuse
positive battery terminal with fuse
Alright I have a 2002 Lancer Ls.Last year my positive terminal broke.so I replaced it with a regular terminal and put a stereo inline fuse, but I was told to only hook up one wire. It seems to work fine for a while, but it eventually melts the fuse and the holder. And when it pops my radio and clock turns completely off and my dash lights dim. Also it make my AC blow Luke warm, and my car starts to misfire. I don't know if this has and thing to do with the fuse blowing or just a coincidence but my transmission starts to slip and ****** when the fuse is blown and as soon as I replace it, my transmission works perfectly, and my a.c. blows ice cold again and my radio and clock comes back on also and my dash lights work fine also.
So with everything said I was wondering if I was supposed to hook up all 3 wires in the fuse block. The battery is were it is supposed to be and it's all the wires from the factory. Any help I greatly appreciated because this is my daily driver.
