Using oil extractor to change cooling fluid

I have to change my engine coolant and had the idea of not making a mess and using a fluid extractor tube/pump pushed in through the radiator cap opening on the top of the radiator, and suck out all the old fluid. (the extractor works great on the oil for another car and I clean the extractor when I'm done)

The questions is....

Can I do this with an extractor tube (it's about outer diameter 1/4") or is there going to be an obstruction from the radiator as I push the tube in? (i.e. is it a straight vertical shot to the bottom?)

The car is a Lancer DE 2009

oil filter relocation

on a 2009 lancer de, I'm tired of getting under th car to change oil filters. Subaru has the oil filter on the top and I'd like to use a oil filter relocator.

Any recommendations?

Mounting locations for the filter holder?

If i remember right the the filler cap on the radiator is not directly attached to the radiator. A hose goes to the filler cap from the radiator.

//===(cap)====>(to engine)

In theory you could follow the hose to get to the bottom but im not sure if you'll get it all. you may still need to open the petcock.

Nope.
You could not snake a tube to the bottom.

Much easier to just use the radiator petcock.
