So I have been having EGR issues for a couple years now just recently trying to fix it to pass inspection, the first code I had was P0400 i think it was EGR flow malfunction, i have replaced the solenoid, i believe the sensor, and just recently replaced the EGR Flow valve that has been in the car since I got it 5 years ago, After replacing the valve, the code has changed from P0400 to P0401, EGR Flow Insufficient...I have been considering taking off the intake manifold to check for carbon build up, but before that figured i would post my issue somewhere. I have noticed with all EGR vacuum hoses connected my engine idle is really rough, however if I remove even a single hose from anywhere in the egr system my car runs as smooth as butter...my gut is telling me that this means there has to be a clog somewhere, checked all the hoses, blew through them to make sure hoses aren't clogged...they were fine. Any idea what my issue might be?
