Angry Aem Cai

What is up with AEM? I have read about them shorting people a hose in their CAI kit for the 2002 lancer. and after a month or soo I order one thinking they got that straightened out. Wrong how much would it cost them to check their **** before they ship it? considering their probebly pulling 150 per kit to themselves, come on guys get it together!

Sorry to hear that. I hadn't heard that before. What hose does the CAI require that is missing anyway?

Heard about there problems so we made AEM come to the shop and check through all of our inventory. They are only a few miles away and we collaborate on all of their Mitsu product. They checked all of our stuff and fixed stuff before we shipped it. Where did you guys get your stuff?

Well anyways. where is the best place to buy an AEM CAI here on the net? Coz im planning to get one.. And when you buy an intake, it makes your engine sound better and louder right?.. Just wanted to clear that up....

The cheapest I've found was http://www.adventon.com/ $201 - $217
Next cheapest was Road/Race
http://www.roadracemotorsports.com/lancer.htm
for $219

Had to call AEM yesterday and ship the whole thing back because not only were parts missing but I found 2 tube ends bent oblong and the down tube dented/scratched, looked like it fell off the truck a few times. will probebly take a week or so to get the replacement back.
