Evo 8 Spoiler vibrating question

I bought an Evo VIII spoiler replica from www.autoearth.com, and it's painted and installed, it has been for almost 2 months now. Mine doesn't have carbon fiber on it. It's 100% ABS plastic. It vibrates quite a bit at like 55mph and up! ? It won't fall off or nothing, but i was wondering, if the REAL evo 8 spoiler with the carbon fiber piece at the top doesnt vibrate. ? ANyone know?

Mine is drilled good into my trunk. I mean, it's not going anywhere, but I hate the vibrating. It makes lights[headlights]behind me flash and flicker. Umm, but my guess is that the Carbon fiber is so light that it doesn't vibrate. The ABS plastic is heavier ya know? and the center of the spoiler vibrates..you know..the long piece of the spoiler?

i dont think its the weight, i think carbon fiber is hella rigid and doesnt flex like plastic.

solid as a rock at 130..

hi

Yeah, but what kind of wings do you have [ budlong] and [youngotti] ?? Do you really think it has to do w/ it being drilled correctly? Cause mine is ...but its just the top part of the plastic that vibrates...im thinking cause it's too heavy.

It vibrates because on our OEM Evo 8 wings there is that rubber gunk that goen under neath the mounting poins which works as an adhesive and absorbs the vibration
