fog lights installation

Ok, I screwed them on . Now the problem is that I have absolutely no idea how to connect the electric. Someone want to take a quick foto of what they did as a guideline for me? Also, is there anywhere I can put the wires through the firewall without drilling a hole?

well for the electric part i put the power wire to the battery becuase you have a switch to turn em on and off. I didnt want to drill a hole through thte firewall so i routed the wires behind the fender and above the wheel well. This works fine ive had my fog lights for 6-8 months now so its all good.~

best way is to unscrew the nut on the positive terminal on the battery, strip down the red wire of your fogs. Wrap the stripped wire around the screw then bolt back the nut to the positive side of the battery. its pretty simple.
im doin mine soon i jus need a place to put the fogs.

btw- this has been covered a few times before. Although NOBODY has given explicit directions on how they installed their lights. Lots of speculation and lots of "I had mine installed at a shop".
If you look on the FAR left of the engine compartment you'll find the little rubber stopper. Look behind the strut tower. see it now? you can wire through there if you want to and bring it over to the drivers side. Now you have to do a search on taking your dash apart to mount the switch. God, I hope you didn't get one of those big black boxes with the orange switch... I hate those.

There's also supposed to be another grommet if you follow the hood release cable from the lever through the firewall. You might have to take the plastic skid plates off. Carefully with a small screwdriver will do it. Another guy here says he wired his switch through there. I'll look when I buy another set of lights. I returned the first set. Like you, I didn't want to drill a hole in the firewall
Let us know how they turn out.

Oh- and how'd you get yours screwed on? Are they a single screw mounting style? the first set I bought was a double screw mounting and being late on a Thursday night I didn't want to even consider taking my bumper off

they were double screw mount, but not knowing where exactly the lights would point when powered up, I only have one screw on each right now, so I can situate it when the electricity is on.
