Kamikazi header gasket

ok..i heard a hissssssing noise under from the engine and i checked it out. 2 of the bolts were missing and exaust is leaking. also one side of the gasket blew. now i put new bolts with thread locker and i left the gasket in place. when i was done and turned on my car, its still leaking a lil bit on that side. is this a bad problem? will the leak **** up my engine??
please help

i have the same problem, everytime i press hard on the gas pedal i hear a hissing, WTF is that???

Mine doesnt leak at all, as to the hissing it could be the sound the engine is making, a high flow header usually makes a sound like a hiss(At least I think someone told me that). I can say that if it is leaking it shouldn't be so you should get it checked out.

REPLACE YOUR GASKETS!!!! The one supplied is ****...i took mine out and it crumbled in my hands....go to an auto parts store and ask for a 2.5" collector gasket...Mr. Gasket makes really good ones....totally seals up the connection and no more hissing noise.

That is a good idea, when I took the kamikaze gasket out of the box it felt like a piece of cardboard.

that's what I suspect it is....mine cracked into 4 pieces and started hissing....so I took it out, then it just crumbled. Mr Gasket seals it up nicely.
