Question turbo ok..intercooler?

hey sup ppl ..thxs for those tips i looked into them and i went to my dealer, the technical dude said that there is noting wrong with the turbo and that all turbos turbines produce turbo lag big and small he said the when they put it up on the Dyno that the waste gate and blowoff valve were functioning properly he said that during the test the waste reduced lag at high engine speeds preventing the turbo from spinning to high but at mid end speeds it still stalls out for some reason he said i should think about getting a bigger turbo since this one is too small for my car, he said something about me recompressing the turbo and engine but i dont see why..he gave me a list of turbos to think about
T-28
T-03
A.V.O turbo never heard of it
TD05-18G
RoadRace turbo kit ( I DONT THINK I NEED A SWITCH ?)

For the overheating i need a intercooler since the compressed air is burning the **** out of my engine he said it will increase the power of the engine and should solve the prob u guys know any good Intercoolers cause i dont want to make a poor choice and u guys seem to know more about cars then me so can u help ?

my car specs are:

Garrett T-25 BRT turbo
HkS blowoff valve
VR4 injectors( getting new ones)
Taeson Automania Exhaust
RPW Custom camshaft
RPW stage 1 manifold assembly
16'konig divas
DECALKITS.com car decal
Red 194 H-Gauge lights
Xplod 12-disc cd changer
injen cold air
235@7PSI(current level 287@10PSI NEED APEX-I DUAL BOOST CONTROLLER)
Fitted front and rear strut tower braces
running 1.5 bar
Throttle body
HP1 High Performance Chip
7300.00$ final are these good mods ?? or am i just wasteing money

tell u more on next run

the trick is to get the biggest one possible that fits in the car. Ask Road Race cause I haven't seen much space to fit anything bigger.

EDIT: 235@7PSI(current level 287@10PSI NEED APEX-I DUAL BOOST CONTROLLER

wow..10psi without an intercooler? you're block is probably ****ed already..did you inspect the head and make sure it's not starting to crack or warp?

Alright...some discrepancies I want to point out. First, ok, 7 PSI is perfectly believable and is probably around the threshold of how much boost you want to run on this block without an intercooler. Next however comes the 10 PSI which without and intercooler is entirely to much boost to be safely running on a non-decompressed and non-intercooled motor. Agreeing with Pimp in that you may have already torn the motor apart, especially it's super weak pistons, rings, and conrods. Next however I'm curious...you say you're running 1.5 bar, which is a boost figure denoting your turbo and motor are running at 21 PSI (1 bar=14 psi). I'm curious as to why you'd even mention that much boost to begin with seeing as that would probably instantaneously kill the motor. So some clarification is definitley needed...

hey Ato, Where in sa are you, you should talk to the guys at top notch and extreme performance (both on Naco). they really know their ****. If you were in the DFW area I could recomend you to some people up there since I just moved to SA about a year ago. I use to have a 280 ZX Turbo and know a little about turbos in general and a little more about non intercooled turbos since my Z was not intercooled. If you everwant to chill and **** around with our cars let me know. Also there is a guy with a silver Lancer that has his **** all turboed out and running well from what I gather. Maybe we can look him up at Top Notch, since thats where he got his **** done. BTW where did you get your setup done at or did you do it your self. either reply or e mail me my address is on my profile. Latter

235 hp at 7psi is pretty much impossible. and 285 at 10psi...sorry.nope. once again rule of thumb is 7-10 hp per psi. so 10psi would yield only 100 wheel hp max gain in boost alone. maybe cams, valves, lifters, and some other assorted goods would only get another 20 hp about.

so lets see...
stock motor 103.6 wheel hp + 100 wheel hp gain at 10psi = 203.6 wheel hp.

sorry bro there is no way your getting the power your claiming. lets see the dyno sheet. also that guy is a du*ba$$ because any knowlegable person would have NEVER pulled a stunt like that...10 psi with no IC common...were not dumb on these forums.

also i looked into it...VR4 injectors do not fit the Lancer's injector clip. either this guy is lieing...or he rewired his injector plugs.
and what the **** is a HP1 high performance chip? they don't make chips for these mitsu ecu's. and the t-25 is not too small. talk to a new tech, this one seems wack....sorry for this bad post...i'm in a bad mood. nothing personal

edit: a TD05-18G turbo is about the same size as a T-25 right? its a stock mitsu turbo correct???

Why am I a "hater" for pointing out the fact you threw out 3 different numbers for boost (7, 10, 1.5 bar)? I was simply stating the fact that it seems like you're just throwing numbers out there for the sake of it. Even the revised 1 bar figure is simply to high since that is still 14 PSI. Bar and PSI are interchangeable all dependent on what kinda of equipment you're using to measure boost. They are not independent of each other. (7 PSI = .5 BAR, etc.) You don't run part of the turbo at BAR and the other part at PSI, it's only one or the other. Then it's only after I replied that you mention that the car is not being driven. One more thing, how is it you're using an Injen CAI on a turbo setup? Did you base all the turbo intake piping around that? Must've been a job to fit it correctly. I guess you lengthened the MAS wiring to? Regardless, look into a rising rate FPR and just grab a big thick Spearco intercooler and weld away.
