Daytime running lights...

Yes indeed, we do have DRLs... as for disabling them, I haven't monkeyed with that yet.

BTW, where are you getting the PIAAs? Do you have a $ yet?

Daytime running lights...

anyone know how to disable the daytime running lights??? I don't wanna prematurely ruin a set of Piaa bulbs if I get them....

There are no daytime lights on the lancer. Only if you leave your lights on. If your lights are on during the day just turn them off on the steering wheel. By the way leaving your lights on and turning off your car you lights will go off when opening the door. Now I know I won't kill my battery this winter.

The Canadian version may have some slight differences...but I doubt it.

got the piaas from a friend for $60 off of his old car... if they blow, I have friends at Contemporary Motorsports that will "warranty" them for me...

You guys didnt know that...i discovered that the first night i had my car...i never turn my lights off...I just let them shut off...however now and then they stay on...cant figure out why...oh well... a Lexus it is not

FYI, usually daytime running lights have a pretty large black square fuse in the fusebox in the engine bay, not sure if its labeled, but unless every car has diff sizes for this box, it is roughly the size of a 5cent piece(but square!)

I wonder why the Canadian ones come with them and the US version does not Kinda glad I don't have them, though. Most of the time, I don't feel that they're needed.
