My car is still under warranty so I might just have mitsu check it out, but has anyone else noticed any squeaking/creaking noises when they are leaning on the left side of their backrest... I just started noticing it when I was at the shore over the weekend... when I get in or out of the car the backrest starts to creak a little...

Think the warranty would fix this, possibly gimme a new seat?

 

Probably not a new seat, but they should fix it. I'm still not sure if my squeaking is coming from the seat and bracket, or the B-pillar.... Be sure to let us all know what they do to fix it/resovle the problem!

 

Hey, my driver seat squeaks too.. It pisses me off, usually I just crank up the music loud. That doesn't fix the problem though. I just orded 2 Ralliart racing seats and 4pt harnesses. I went to install them tonight but the universal brackts don't fit my Lancer's floor bolt pattern. I need to order new seat brackets.. I found some on ebay for 36 dollar + shipping. They also have the brackets on RMR. I think I'm going with the ones on ebay since they are like 60 bux cheaper.

 

quality might be questionable at that much of a lower price however. RMR has spent time developing theirs and they are good and sturdy, I've seen several posts on here from people that have them

 

I got a squeaking after I put aftermarket seats in. The bolts holding the brackets to the floor just had to settle and then I tightened them, no squeaking after that. Maybe you guys just need to tighten the bolts on the brackets now that the car has been jostled around a bit?
