i cant figure out what it is but when i shift into 1st from a dead stop and the clutch engages the gear, if theres a slight rocking motion in the car like its not a perfect "launch" (not fast though), the car squeaks. i dont think its the gear engaging that squeaks because sometimes i get a smooth take off and no squeak, it sounds like th chassis is squeaking somewhere? its kind of hard to explain sorry if that was a little confusing but its just been bugging me because you car really hear it even if your outside the car im sure.

ps..i think my drivers side seat is a little loose because it creaks a little too..how could i go about fixing that as well?

my driverside seat squeaks.. i just ignore it. Also your car is going to squeak.. its inevitable, its a mitsu thing haha. In the winter my car sounds like 100 mice live in it. Wait till you start hearing the creaks. If the squeak continues when you go over bumps and it sounds like the suspension i might be a bushing that needs to be lubed or something...

 

Probably just the sound of the engine moving on the mounts.

 

i know its not a suspension thing so i guess it could be the engine movement
