in the morning when i start my car it squeaks, seems like the serpentine belt. and as the car warms up it stops squeaking. and while driving, lets say i slow down and turn into a different street and as the car accelarates itll make that squeak belt sound or something in the lower rpms, after going in higher rpms itll stop.

and also, would water bother going on the belts? cause i lost a plastic under my lancer 03 and it would cover a lower pulley where the belt turns on. i really dunno what its all about or what its for though but yea it rains oftenly and i long thought that it was only cause there was water on it, would water bother making the belt squeak?
