Lately whenever i get into my car i get this weird gasoline smell from it when i sit inside, Anyone know if this is a problem or not or what it could be?

 

Have you been bathing in gasoline? Or more likely, is your cap fully closed? (Your CEL would go on after a bit if it wasn't)

 

heh, i wouldnt worry. gas wouldnt be leaking into your car its probably something stupid like u stepped in some at the station and got it on ur floor mat or something. it should go away after a while. and if not, listen to hobie. use regular soap.

 

If you were leaking gas I'm pretty sure you'd be quite aware of it quite quickly. ...and not in a good way.

 

Waaaaay to early for something like your cabin filter to be going. If you've got it in the garage and you start the car and say dont' get in right away (forgot wallet on table etc.) or you put the window down you're bound to get some sort of exaust "fragrance". Man...lots of people becoming car hypochondriacs...

 

also dont forget the gas tank is on the drivers side in the rear...

 

lol thanks guys no its not in a garage its parked outside, i know where my gas tank and probably got gas on my floor mat or something though~
