Yeah I know, I'm just too lazy to write out nitrous oxide. I'm the same as you though, I get annoyed when ricers call it NOS as well and don't actually know what they're injecting into their engine. Thats why I don't like nitrous (there we go). Too many ricer boys at the Uni with their cavaliers and hondas and such think of it as this end all power upgrade. They're the same guys who put huge decals like "powered by Honda" or "Mugen Power" on their windshields and go 80 through a school zone when people are crossing the street.

you know, there is a certiain mystique about nitrous. when i tell ppl that i have it, they assume that i "race on the street and drive like a maniac." think about this. if you have no intention of going to the track, you fill up on the lower octane and drive like a normal person. if you only have a tank that makes you go fast, your not going to waste any nitrous on any loser that pulls up next to you. my buddy has his 377 hp neon that drove home from work one day. i dont think i went the speed limit once in that thing. its takes more control to not speed with turbos than nitrous. i came here looking for facts, not a bunch of hype from a bunch of ricers. i guess i came to the wrong place.

"NAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAWZ"
its one way of modifying ur car
one way is turbo
the other way is natural
naaawz being the easiest upgrade with most hp for ur buck...
turbo comes next
then goes the N/A I would say the hardest way to get any HP
thats why IMO if you can get it UP there with N/A then u'll feel better
than just slapping some NAAAAAAAAAAAWZ or turbo in ur car.

*I don't hate turbos I actually love the feeling of that sudden boost*

I was simply saying that for me, I don't see the point in using nitrous on a street car since you really can't use it in any normal, street driving situation. Your perfectly welcome to get some, and crash or destroy your engine or hell even get away with it. Your car, your mods. You don't have to go around calling people ricers for simply having a difference in opinion about the relevancy of modifications. Talk to any people that we would call ricers like the owners of the huge winged civics and I'm sure they wouldn't find it ricey at all, they might instead think that painting your badges or removing them all together is ricey. Ricey is a purely opinion based distinction.
