Piston rings?
Im running a 100 shot omy my es. i have been using an safc-II to try and make it a bit safer. well, like crack, nitrous is only fun untill you die. now it sounds like a quarter is loose in the engine, rattling around. i havent had a chance to rip apart the block yet, thought anyone else might have any ideas. thanks in advance!
open it up and find out waht is the problem, hopefully its jsut internals liek pistons or rods taht can be replaced with parts that are stronger than stock. oh and dont ever use nitrous on a lancer again, tehy cant take it.

Whats the point of NOS on a street car? You can't use it while your just driving around and really unless your a sponsored or a pro racer why spend money and risk a dead engine when you can only use it on the track or drag strip?
has anyone ever spun their tires at 75 mph full throttle? no, and i hope they never do, thats ****ing dangerous, stupid, and counter productive. but im glad you can do it tho. congratulations. oh and keep refilling your tank and blowing up your motor, i'll take my "unmatchable" turbo feeling every day of the week tho. just my .02

Well common sense and I'd hope brains would stop him from using it on the streets. When are you gonna encounter a straight away where 1. theres an actual point in cutting your 0-60 and your 1/4 mile down by substantial amounts and 2. its actually safe to do so by means of NOS? I can see getting a turbo cause it doesn't require active, conscious actions to use. You just hit the pedal and wham you have speed. NOS requires you to either use a computer controlled injection system or to have some sort of switch to inject it. I see NOS as something for the pros when they're on the track and actually need that extra little bit of power or for ricers who think they need to race everyone around them and are willing to destroy their engines and potentially kill someone by using NOS to do so. I can't see someone using NOS and obeying the speed limit or rather keeping within a reasonable range of the speed limit.
