I've got the Porterfields and they are very squeeky and they are a perfect fit in the caliper and stop very good but I dont like the noise... any suggestions on why they squeek and how to fix them? I may pick up a set of the axxis pads to cut down on noise...

Our experience is if they are in correctly, they are quiet. No good ideas for you if they are in right!

Yeah, we filed literally 1/16 to 1/8 inch from them (held the filed pad next to its unmolested counterpart before continuing), and I needed to file a little more to the left side to get the rubbing to go away. Are the Axxis pads semi-metallic? If so, I might try running them with cross-drilled rotors to keep the heat down.

I believe they are semi-metallic.
