i can answer the lag issue. as I have had both the non intercooled and intercooled turbo on an auto.

there is damn near no lag. If you are launching (putting your foot on the gas and brake) as soon as you let off the brake you are into boost. you build boost from 1-3 pounds almost instantly then 4-5-6.5 pounds come almost instantly after that (I am running 6.5 psi).

If you are just putting around town and dont launch you will be in full boost at around 3100 rpms. which comes in quicker than you think.

i still cant beleive you were running on stock exhaust... thats like extreme strangulation for the turbo hehhe... anyways... i'd say if you guys dont want the trouble... go with rrm saves you the headaches especially if your going to install it yourself, On the other hand if you really know what your doing custom is the way to go.. but SC is BOOOOOty .. turbo all the way

how much better flow/spool up would be created if I went with the whole package (intake/header/cat-back GReddy/ and larger TB)?

Your gonna get a lot better flow / spool with all that stuff, not too much on the spool side maybe a 100-200 rpm's quicker but your turbo is going to love all the air I would actually go with a 2.5" as opposed to the greddy, I have the greddy LOVE IT to death sounds hella sweet but just wish it was 2.5" althought u lose some backpressure, u gain in HP

Thereasons. give us a call and we can lock in the sale price on the non IC kit tomorrow. That is technically over but I will honor it for you. 1/2 deposit is fine.

Hey Rock, I see you guys have offered a deal on headers, non-ic, and ic systems now. How about a deal for all us loyal RRM fans that want to upgrade from non-ic to intercooled?
