This might be because I live in sunny Ca where rust is not in our vocabulary, but I got those nuts off with a 3/8" drive socket wrench. And I realized someone's question wasn't answered earlier... this will NOT affect alignment. Just slap it on and drive.

Thanks Brian! I didn't think there would be any alignment issues, but it's always good to get your input to verify

bump- check out the first post again. I think you'll be just fine with rear strut and rear tie.... in fact you'll probably like it

I've had this in for a few weeks now and I've been enjoying it thoroughly. I already had the RRM/Progress sway bar and perches, but didn't want a strut bar because I value my trunk space too much. The tie bar makes a great alternative there and really has tightened up the rear a bunch - more noticeable than I expected actually.

I will say that up here in the northeast, rust is a problem. Those 2 nuts took nearly half an hour for me to get off. Then again, I only had a 3/8" socket wrench and it was only about a 10" lever. It took all my strength and all my weight to get them off. Mind you, I've got over 300lbs of weight to throw into it, quite a bit of strength, and nearly did myself some injury getting them off. I'd suggest annyone with rust problems at least invest in a breaker bar or a longer wratchet ;-)

It was worth it. Thanks dude!

Great product like this should never be left at the bottom of a forum. Everybody should give Alchemy Motorsport a bump once in a while

Sign me up for a set of black decals! Oh, and maybe a white one to put on my tie bar!
