Evo Return

I was reading a story today on Yahoo, and did a quick search here finding nothing to support it the rumor. I've been away for a while, as I no longer have my EVO X, but if this story is true, I would certainly consider purchasing another! Forgive me if this has already been discussed somewhere on here previously.

Interesting....If they build an Evo XI, I would hope they redesign the body to look more like the evo I - IX. All the Final Editions would no longer be "Final Editions" though, right?

I'm interested in the rumored hatchback model.

I believe a hatchback would help revive the battle between Mitsubishi and Subaru. Each company attempting to one up the other would be great for consumers!
Here is another article I found further supporting the rumor of the Evo's return.

I wouldn't get too excited over it. As far as I'm aware the original article was written by someone with very little track record in automotive journalism. It's almost certainly just speculation, or at worst a clickbait article.
I'm not expecting one, but I'd love for an announcement from Mitsubishi to prove me wrong. A new Evo sedan would be fantastic assuming it's not a hyper-mile commuter - I can certainly see myself getting in line for one.

I would take it all with a grain of salt until we see the actual production vehicle.

As far as I'm aware that is the article that sparked all the other talk about the Evo XI, but the author has no credibility whatsoever and I can promise he doesn't have an "in" with Mitsubishi. I think we're all just excited to even consider the Evo coming back and we're getting ahead of ourselves here.

I wouldn't be excessively invigorated. As may be obvious, the first article was composed by somebody with very little foundation in auto news-casting. This is more likely than not simply theory, or best case scenario a misleading content article.
