Think of getting the NSX...
Well, it's been a few month since I started looking into the NSX. I test drove a few in town and really like the dynamic of the car.
Recently, I found a 91 with only 30K miles with all service done up to date. It's a friend's friend's dad's car
. He's the original owner. The car seems to be in good condition based on the pictures he sent me. I think I will make him an offer and might take delivery in Nov...
Any comment on the old NSX? It's a bit old, but it surely hold its value...

I was seriously thinking about buying an NSX a few years ago, and it was so underpowered I passed. After I drove one, I wouldn't even consider it. It was like driving a Acura Integra. It is a very sexy car, but slow. I bought a 993 Twin Turbo instead, which is the other car I had always wanted. After driving the two back to back, there is absolutely no comparison.
The NSX is sexy no doubt, but not very exciting.

ohhh it has the 6-speed trans in it also....and is black on black with leather. I am not sure what he wants for it, but if you want to make an offer i can relay it to him.

abalta: Agree with you on the power issue. However, if I want raw power, the NSX is not even in the top 5 of all choices...However, it does have a very balance/complete package with a much lower maintenance fee compare to other exotics (Porsche, Ferrari and Lambo) during that period.
You can always give the Comptech supercharger a shot, but you can't lower the Porsche mechanic hourly rate...J/K
I envy you for having such a nice car Later, guys, I'm off to NY...

No 91 came stock w/ the targa and the 6-spd. I think he might have a 97+ model...which would be higher in price...
