They do have fully 5speeds now without a doubt. I was looking at them a couple weeks ago. (I can dream, can't I?)

I know, I was saying that the 5 speed is geared for a smooth, uneventful ride as opposed to a sporty geared tranny, which may not be as smooth, but makes it get up and get out (lancer, I'm looking in your direction...).

The Skyline, I believe, uses an inline-6, whereas the 350Z uses a V6. I may be wrong, but, I don't think I am. However, the G35 is supposed to be what the new GTR will be built off of (the concept is pretty wierd looking), kinda like how the Evo is built off of the Cedia Turbo, which we all know, the G35 is the same as the Z.. ow, my ****in' head hurts.

Anyway, my guess is that a GTR, if it makes it to these shores, would probably be under Infinity's line, and maybe we could expect a Nismo edition 350Z?

I like my IS's. For a good comparison between nice luxo-sport sedans, I'd be torn between it and the Caddy CTS. Both offered in nice 5 speeds.

Same engine, on the G35 and 350Z. The G35 is just the Four-door and 2by2 whereas the Z is a pure two seater.

CTS.. disagree. No contest IS on that one. The G35 is what the Caddy aspires to be.

I will salvage some dignity yet! (not likely at this rate)

Hm.... ::gets a crafty look in his eyes::

EDIT: Yeah, Ok. I don't have time to do any salvaging. Back to business. Sorry bout that.

LoL!.. Isn't this suppose to be a EVO forum?!?.. LoL
I love my IS300, great performance & all. Nice car to ride in but if you wanna to make it a beast, get ready to put about 20g in it! LoL!.. My turbo kit was specially ordered from Japan & it wasn't cheap! Somewhere around $9,000 - $10,000. Overall all, it's a great car. Anyone find out where I can get those Angel Eyes for my IS??.. I've been looking for them everywhere & I can't find them. I want those so bad!

Seeing as it's the same engine code as the supra, couldn't you salvage some exhaust manifolds and turbos?

The piping may not run in the same fashion. We have the same engine code as the Pajero Pinin (whatever the hell a Pinin is) but I doubt we could use many of its engine components. The chassis are completely different.

the IS300 rims????? are you nuts?!?! they are nice as hell....the 17in? with the lexus logo in the middle....classy as hell, very sporty, and they make the car look very mean.

IS300 is a ****ing NICE car, i don't find any faults with it, perfect blend of luxury and performance for the price range
