I like that Galant Ralliart a lot Would I buy one if I were shopping for a full-sized sedan? That all depends on the test drive and price, but there's a good chance of it.

I saw these cars up close yesterday; they are both at Road Race engineering right now b/c John is doing some suspension work on them before they go off for some magazine shoot.

the paint on the Galant is pretty insane. ITs really deep. The seats look like reupholstered EVO seats.

If mitsu is smart, they will build that Galant to keep up with the new Subaru Legacy 2.5 GT and the soon-to-be-out Mazdaspeed 6. Looks nice but I doubt the production version will have all that aftermarket stuff. It might need awd to keep up with the other 2 I mentioned. 6 speed is sweet tho.

Grr...I just really noticed that those seats are leather, and I bet that'll be standard Don't get me wrong, leather _looks_ really nice, but it's more expensive, less comfortable, and less grippy. I'd much prefer cloth myself. I'd also mention that leather is less humane to the cows, but with the amount of steak and beef I eat I really can't complain about that.

AWD to help it keep up? For traction in bad weather or on a launch sure, but in normal driving my understand is it would slow the car down...

an AWD system would soak up more hp before it hits the ground, but would prove for a better launch and if executed properly would make for a better balanced car in the handling department. Either way, for a midsize sedan this thing is way sexy... Me likey!

the only thing i really don't like about this car is the tiny little ralliart strip in the grill. its just much too small, like the mitsu logos of old. toss on the ralli//art logo like the one off the back of the lancer ralliart, and then it'll look ok. as it stands, its like one of those pin head nose piercings some girls get... why bother?
