i have both cars, a skyline r32 and an evo MR, but pretty much i cant do much comparison because i am still having problems with the skyline (turbo piping leak).

i would choose however a skyline over the evo, (an r34), because it is a 6 cylnder and much more work to be done, plus 2 door also.

I would take the EVO9 over the skyline. The us spec skyline is probably going to be real watered down.

Skyline AaaaLLLLLL Day! Definately fell in love with the one in 2F2F. That is why i enjoyed 2f2f b/c it had both evo and skyline. I am curious to see how they are gonna top those 2 cars in fast/furiouse 3

This is a little off-topic, but I think the love for the Skyline is helped by the scarcity factor. It's forbidden fruit in the US. Objectively, the Skyline's performance is not that impressive compared to newer cars on the market. Stock vs stock, a C5 Z06 would destroy the R34 GT-R. The Vette is significantly more powerful, weighs some 400lbs less, and has much more rubber on the road. There's the argument that the GT-R can be modded, but so can the Z06. Supercharger + T1 suspension + Hoosiers = Track Monster Z06
