what do you guys think a WS6 Trans Am with 406 rwhp with 3500 stall convert would run in the 1/4. just curious as a friend of mine has this and is a mad **** talker. He talks to me like I am his worst enemy rather than his friend so I want to bust that *** which I think I can.

 

I have a friend with a '02 WS6 that put down close to 400rwhp last time on the dyno - he's run a best of 12.0 at 117mph on street tires.

 

That's sounds like a low 12 second car to me...

 

this is exactly what I was thinking guys. he thinks he got an 11 sec car and i said nope sorry drag slick yes probably, but other than that I told him our cars would stay even as he would be in the low 12s with me. I told him he would rape me at above 120 though. it does help that his car is heavier and that he weighs 350 lbs. time to have a little fun it sounds like!

 

Yea decently modded LS1's are particularly potent as speeds rise - my previous car was a 6-speed '98 WS6 that ran mid 12's at 115 with the usual mods. It wasn't the best out of the hole (hard to launch on street tires), but on highway runs I'd usually be able to reel 'em in.
