Yea it might be turbo? The Tuscani is the racing name for the tiburon. Like MR or STi.

Im pretty sure its not turbo . . . I got in a discussion on a dsm forum and a guy got walked in his tsi by a tiburon . . . now a base model couldnt do that . . . i actually got smoked by one also but it had tuscani badges which made me think it was a real tuscani. Then i was told i was wrong that they are not avaliable here in the us. ? >? ?

I don't think they are. I have heard of guys who bought a 4 cylinder Tiberon. Then did a complete Evo swap. 4G63 Engine, Five speed and AWD. Now thats sweet.

yeah, that new tibby is alright... for a korean car.
i've heard of the evo swap, i know the 4 cyl model has a few turbo kit options and the v6 has a couple SC kit options. they also handle pretty well, i got a chance to drive a GT(v6 trim) with a SC kit pushing 6 psi with springs and it felt like it was on rails. and this is AFTER i got my evo.

The Hyundai Tuscani is nothing more than a de-contented (ie cheaper) version of the Tiburon V6 GT - no more hp, no less. Hyundai had problems selling the GT in it's origional fully loaded (higher price) version, so they chopped some of the doodads and called in the "Tuscani". Seen a stock one run at out local track - high 15's at 88ish mph traps.

I'm not positive if ur talking about what I think you're talking about, but there is a tiburon that has another engine in the back that powers the rear wheels. Each motor is putting out a little over 300whp I beleive. So all together it is making 600hp and is all wheel drive. Also there are 2 seperate transmissions too I think, so one can be in drive, while the other is in reverse, making for a sweet burnout

Again, i'm not sure if thats the same tiburon ur talking about or not. I just may have not heard of the car ur talking about.
