They use the mitsubishi 4g63 engines. lol...

anyway, there is a tiburon with 1000hp running around. v12. they welded the two v6 together and tuned it.

it's sick.

 

i know that one company, dont rememper which one, made a twin turbo v6 for the SEMA show a year or two back. 500hp is what they claimed for it.

a stock gt v6 6speed tiburon runs mid / high 15's with a typical driver, it can do low 15's stock with a good driver..

my elantra 4 cylinder runs mid 15's na with simple bolt-ons..

I own both 03 gt v6 tib & 03 5spd elantra...

There are people who have done the 4g63 swap but its so damn expensive its just easier to bolt a turbo kit onto it...

 

yea, in korea, the tiburon is called the tuscani. same car. i actually heard that when the tiburon was brought to america, they actually had to increase the hp to what it is now. IMO, i dont like that car very much performance wise. but the looks are ok.

 

i nvr liked the car cuz i always thought that the hyundai desinger jipped supra design...still do...

 

Designers jack each other's **** all the time. The evo looks like a riced out accord from certain angles.
