All in all, this car will be a superperformance bargain which I would be happy to buy. If that thing is around 35k, I would def. put it in the running for my new car along with the Evo IX, G35, IS300, and Subaru Legacy GT.
(all of you guys are saying Ford quality sucks? My dad has had many F150's and they last forever. If somethin does go wrong, easily covered under warranty. I love the Evo as much as anyone here, but how many of you can say that about your car and mitsu??)

They had to do this or else there fastest car would still be running 13.8's in the quarter and be left behind by not only the likes of Chevy but also companies like Mitsu. and Subaru also. Trust me I am not alone in seeing it this way.
And what is wrong with a manufacturer using a cheaper engine and supercharging it, over another manufacturer building a more expensive engine with larger displacement that is naturally asperated? They're just two different ways to skin a cat. Personally I'll take a forced induction motor over NA any day. Nothing like being able to add 100+hp for less than $2000.

This is my .02, just the way I see there company. Keep the Evo ; )

Its not really my cup of tea, so to speek. I have always perfered the sleakness of the Jap two door sports cars to the somewhat large american sports cars. There is and will always be something that feels wrong with this car when its driving down the road....it just looks fat.
This doesnt change this cars great number's, go Ford, although im a Chevy guy myself.

it's definitely a great bang for the buck and i'm sure it'll be just fine in the corners. kinda like the new gto with LS2. but i hate the styling of the gto cause it's just too bland. this car looks badder. it's still very heavy though, so it's not as tossable in tighter corners. personally i don't care about drag racing. i haven't even learned how to drag launch my evo yet because i'm indifferent to it and don't feel like wasting the clutch. nor do i care about loading my evo with mods to compete with cobras in the 1/4. i rather spend the money on racing schools to become a better driver. and if you just wanna go FAST, get this car, i'll stick with my Evo because it does things the way i like to do them. i dunno why ppl rave so much about how great the Evo handles when they spend 80% of the time at the strip anyway? but hey, everyone has a preference.
