It's more S4 contender IMO. 280hp Twin turbo is more than enough to challenge the old S4.

I would assume that person did a coversion (look only, since you can't put the EJ20TT into the LHD Legacy).

Yeah, they're cool looking until you get around to the back. Then they're ugly as hell. For my money, the Legacy has the ugliest tail (aside from the new Cavalier) of any car in current production. And when you think about it, if you have a fast car, you want that to be the nicest looking part... because that's all anyone should ever see of it on the road.

FYI, the Blitzen kit is designed by Porsche Design.

And that's the Blitzen II you're posting...

Not conversions, the pics are off Subaru Japan's website. Also, the TT conversion is not impossible. You just need a custom downpipe to make it fit iirc. Would be stongly suggested that one buys the front clip to make it easier though

Lan Evo - You have the Blitzen right, the other is the S401

I was refering to SpeshalK's comment about the car he's seen the other day

TT conversion huh? I always think the cost of the custom piping is the killer. That's why couple of the people i know ended up getting the 2.5 RS turbo kit for their Legacy GT instead of doing up the TT conversion.

Just hope we can get the B4

WRX engine swaps are safer than turboing the 2.5l, yet turboing the 2.5l would be easier than coming by a TT front clip setup cheap

The Legacy will come back with turbo in '04 as an '05 model. Last of the lineup to get boosted as in comes after the Forester XT with the WRX engine. It will "most likely" be called something other than the B4 though when it comes. It will probably have a de-tuned STI 2.5l making 260-280hp with the 6pd manual and a 5sp autostick.

Both of those are special edition Legacys

We will be getting a turbo Legacy in one year with a rumored 300+ HP

the Blue legacy (S401) has a tested 310hp

Very True, since there are numerious of WRX engines out there (Can we say wrecked REX? )

That's what I heard, too. I guess we might be getting the same info from the same old i-club (back in the days when there was since only ONE i-club)

i have had it for two years.
nobody wants it because it is too hard to tune a 2 stage turbo motor.

Nasioc/I-club Legacy forum I'm a Legacy guy waiting for '04 to come faster so I can have my fast family sedan. WRX/EVO are too small.

I love the TT, though I'm not sure I wan to deal with the VOD that comes with the TT setup. That's why I'm more atuned to WRX(STI) swap. For me that engine would be a daily driver so tuning is not a problem, but $$ to buy it is 10 bucks and a doughnut trade good??
