2007 Ford Mustang Shelby GT500
given the fact that the new mustang is placing very high on track events right now (yes the ones with left and right turns), I think it's easy to say that Ford hit the spot with their suspension geometry. That solid rear axle will still own quite a few of our IRS cars on the track.
Yup, I recently watched a showroom stock based racing series on ESPN (forget the name of the series now...stupid brain!), and a Mustang GT based (yes the current GT and WITH a solid axle, NOT a Cobra) car was kicking *** on BMW M3's and Porsche 911's - actually it WON the race! And this was on a tight infield road course with some high speed oval banking included. Those who believe this will will only be a straight line wonder, are in for a suprise *L*.
you sure know what drag racing is all about!

Amazing stuff.
I, for one, am rooting for her.
