Replaced my Evo
Replaced my Evo
After a couple of weeks of searching for a car I liked, I finally got a replacement for my Evo. It is a 2004 (six months old) Audi S4. The previous owner installed an intake, downpipes with high-flow cats, cat-back exhaust and software.

The V8 sounds AMAZING with the exhaust. The car has lots of torque in any gear at any RPMs. I was in 6th gear and slowed to ~10mph for a light before it chnged to green. I forgot to shift to a lower gear, but instead of bogging down, the car just gracefully pulled up to speed.
The device for changing the software is pretty cool. You just plug it into the OBD2 port and press a button that corresponds to your desired map. It even has a valet mode that restricts the engine to 3000rpm. Here is the unit:

nice......I've heard a few S4's on the track with exhaust and that V8 sounds SICK! I'm a big fan of those cars but they've had some pretty significant quality issues the last few years so I'm shying away for now.

Thanks for the positive feedback, folks! It may be premature, but after 700 miles, I believe this is the best car I have owned.
To the guys who think I need wheels, I have ordered 20" wheels with polished lips and custom-painted centers that match the color of the car (Dolphin Gray).
