F1 car = 1,350lbs , 900 hp = 1.5 weight to power ratio
Ultima GTR = 2,300lbs , 520 Hp = 4.4 weight to power ratio
That AMS EVO(VIDEO) = 3,400 , 601hp = 5.7 weight to power ratio
Dodge Viper = 3,500lbs , 500hp = 7 weight to power ratio
My Evo = 3,400lb , 333 hp = 10.2 weight to power ratio
You should be picking on a viper before you start with me.....
Did you think maybe the guy driving the blue Ulitma cant drive? or wasnt driving as hard as the guy with the evo? from what I hear from a track pro... is that the 2 Ultima GTR owners around the tri state area are old and horrible drivers, If anyone is going to tell me there evo can beat my world record setting car (faster than a Mclaren F1) your being silly. Ill run a 10.5 with street tires, and under 10 with slicks. ..... please

The Ultima GTR in One Lap of America is currently being beaten by:
a Porsche 996 TT,
a Dodge Viper,
four Corvettes,
a RAM 1500 Pickup Truck,
a 300C SRT-8,
a SRT-4,
an EVO,
a Superformance Daytona Coupe,
a NSX,
a M3,
a Porsche 930,
two WRX STIs,
and a Mustang GT
You'd think the "world's fastest car" could amount to better than 18th place overall... It managed only a 13.950 in the drag race, good for 40th place on that day...
Maybe driver skill and preparation are also important to how "fast" a car is...
Just a thought.
