Talking M3 or 350z?

Hey guys just wondering because my roommate is contimplating on selling his m3 and getting a 350z. What do you think he should do? Plans for mods
m3:
lightening parts
seats
supercharge or N/A (still deciding)
wheels
Full exhaust

350z
Twin turbo
well basically go all out with parts on this car

So what do you guys think he should do?

Assuming thats an E46 M3, I'd say stick with the M3. Modded M3's are nice. You don't see as many of those around.

The Z wishes it was an M3, far better Engineering and build quality and balance. I would take a USED M3 over a Brand New Z.

Werd, E46 M3 is the hawtness. Only downside is that the parts for the car are super expensive, then again, what do you expect when the car costs $50k.

I love the 350z, but the M3 is such a different BEAST on it's own.

350Z = $27k

M3 = $50k

There's not even a comparison here......the M3 is more car and costs nearly twice as much. Totally different cars. The Z is a mid-priced pure sports car....the M3 is a much higher priced sport/luxury car.

Now, that being said, if your buddy is just concerned with power the Z can be upgraded with a turbo/supercharger and forged internals for $10k-$12k and put down over 400hp at the wheels and has the superb chassis to handle well too. In order to get that kinda HP in an M3 he'll spend substantially more $$$ and have astronomical repair and mod bills any time someone has to touch that car.
