Funny how a stock evo could get beat by a stock srt from a roll, but Evo owner hate roll race cuz it doesnt take advantage of the 1.5-1.7 60ft. Stock vs. stock in 1/4 mile EVO all day, from a roll, different story. but hey, its just a neon.

Funny how some still think it is a race from a roll. Yea....my car can beat yours from 40-80 but wait you can beat mines from 80-120...but wait, I can beat you from 10-60.

The thing is though that all of the cars mentioned as faster than the evo don't really hold up all around against it, I mean braking distance, skidpad, slalom, WINTER DRIVEABILITY(i'm from Boston) and most of all value. The only car that you can really compare it to in the US is the sti in terms of all around performance, because acceleration really isn't everything.

 

Winter driveability is not the topic of the thread.

 

I didn't say that winter driveability was, all i'm saying is that the thread asks "what 4 door cars are faster" but all that people are talking about is acceleration, i'm saying you can measure the quickness of a car in other ways such as road courses, or autocross, or in the snow/dirt, or faster braking times thats all, i don't think thats off topic

on street tires from a dig to a 1/4
there are hardly any 4 doors that could beat the evo.

and u guys are talking about AMG cars etc...that have been tuned...
what about the FQ400 evo's..
or better yet...does anyone remember the factory RS450 Evo 6's? 450bhp!!
