Yes these stats are correct. My friends type R ran the same 14.7 bone stock. He did header back exhaust, and cold air intake. Ran a 14.4.

The performance of an Integra Type R is very similiar to a RSX Type S (except the Integra Type R handles and stops better).

just doing a quick dirty research on the car...

some Type R guy's friend I met one weekend was telling me how the Type R can hang with the stock Evo doing 3rd gear pulls...

The Type R had port/polish, intake, and exhaust...stock ECU...I told him he'll still get raped, b/c the trubo's where all the money's at...

It is possible that a slightly modified Type R can hang with a stock EVO from a third gear roll. I mean it's possible for a Type R to run a 14.8-14.9 @95-97MPH stock (They make around 160-165WHP stock). Now add a couple of mods, such as port/polish, intake, and exhaust and it's possible for the Type R to run a 14.1-14.5@98-100MPH. A stock 2003 EVO, run on average (when properly driven of course) 13.2-13.6@99-103MPH. So the Type R isn't as far off from a roll as one might suspect. The Type R only weighs around 2600-2700Lbs.

I've been looking for a low mileage type r and their prices are going through the roof. Almost $20,000. For $20,000, I could get a 911 that runs perfectly but would cost a ton more to insure and maintain. Decisions decisions.
