i was actually thinking about that...i could try the wetsanding and buffing...what do i have to lose. i like the cts in general and wouldnt mind keeping it but im just tired of this one...problem after problem...plus with me being young i would like something more sporty and fun now. i can drive luxury when i get in my 30s

 

id like luxury now!haha... try wet sanding it with 1500 grit paper until the peel line goes away and then buff it out! if you cant do this contact someone who can!

 

What kind of attitude is that? I've already help him quite a bit in other threads, yet he INSISTS on littering this place with crap that has nothing to do with Evos. It started with incessant noob questions about mods for a car he doesn't own, which included questions about VTA BOVs that made noise, since this car is supposedly for his GIRLFRIEND who likes the sound of cars with turbos (wtf?). The ridiculous questions continued all the way until the thread that topped it off when he actually thought he could take his negative equity and purchase a brand new IX with $500/month payments. He's also been allowed to continually make lewd references to my wife while suggesting I have an alternative sexual preference. Nice, huh?

I can't help you fix your car Zec, but I would ask you to take a look at your finances and be honest with yourself about purchasing a EVO.

If your upside down even 3K add that to a price of a 33K OTD EVO IX and your looking at 625 a month for 72 months. After two or three years when your bored of the EVO you will still be upside down and in the exact same situation again.

A new 05' EVO is 29K with SSL and trade in is only 24K immediate rip off. Look at all the people that bought 05's for 28-32K and now you can buy a 05' for 25K.

I would strongly urge you to buy used and put some money down to prevent yourself from being in this same situation down the road.

FWIW, I'm picking up a 05' black EVO with 10K miles for $23,750 on Saturday it does have road rash on 1 rim, no dents, and a 2.5'' scratch by the door and front lip.....I don't want to be upside down in 3 years. Even though I really want a SSL new I'm not willing to do it financially.
