Went to the Dyno...

Went to the Dyno yesterday.
Car: 2003 Nissan 350Z Touring 6sp
Mods: None
Dyno: Dynojet
Whp: 232.88
Torque: 226.36
Uncorrected {6000'}: 192.84 whp 187.44 Torque

I'm waiting to scan the print out and getting the vid from my buddy. Went to say thanks to Mac Autosport in Parker, Co. Awesome people and shop.

EDIT: Updated Numbers on page 3.

i have a base 350z ( but getting the EVO IX in 3 months) and i did a dyno on it (dynojet) i got 245 hp and 245 tq . i have borla TD exhaust, aem cai intake, kintex hi-flow cats, dc sport headers, UD pulleys. Sorta dissappointed but what can you say in car that cant be tuned as easily as an EVO.

You can read any car magazine, they all say the it's so difficult (if not impossible) to extract power from the 350z, besides adding a turbo/charger to that high compression engine.

I think those are pretty good numbers.
I am curious what the EVO should actually be stated as having from the factory instead of the 271/276/whatever they say the IX has. It seems to fair favorably compared to cars that state 300 hp from the factory. I'm sure this has been discussed before so sorry for beating a dead horse.

Well I'm happy with them. I know I won't be getting any big numers unless I go FI but think I learned my lesson dropping a lot of $$$ into a car.

I don't think I would buy a 350z if I had performance upgrades in mind. It's already pretty damn fast. Not only that but I think it's a beautiful car and the interior looks alot more comfortable than my lancer 350's are pretty pimpin if you ask me.
