when i first saw that, i never that subaru would have the ***** to release the front end looking like that. After seeing it released, its still ugly, but not as hideous as i thought it would be...BUT after release, i noticed the rear is worse than anything. It looks terrible...those taillights...eeek. Change the taillights and there ya go. I personally like the STi almost as much as the evo so don't think im simply subbie bashing.

nice combo white+gold, I think white is the best color for a sti . I have to disagree with you about the nicer interior. The gauge set up on a sti is nicer, but I think the new evo 9 interior is way better than the old blue theme look...

yes sir thats what i said!

the mitsu dealer even said i could take the 9 for the night!

the very first day the subby dealer asked me to take the car home and have my friend rive home my evo to take me stuff off it!

i guess thats what good credit gets you (754) and the fact that i knowthe car businesses inside out
see when you drive up to a dealership in an MDX and a clean bad *** evo is behnd you; they know you aint broke. besides i am

My dealer let me take the MR home overnight to show the wife...and I live 30 miles away. They'd have been screwed if didn't keep it, but the sales manager made the right call.

My dealership let me order the IXMR, waited for a month, took the car home without any money down (yet) and without even processing the paperwork. The car went home friday process the paperwork Monday .

Can the 06 STI run under 13sec stock?

Its all about a matter of approach!
Some dealers say they have to pull crdit before they let you drive!
Money talks but respect goes along way!
Can the 06 STI run under 13sec stock?
not with my driving

The car looks great. The only thing that I didn't like on the front is the center part.

Awesome.

CF lipkit and cf hood and cf trunk would look great on the white.

DOES NOT HANDLE BETTER THAN THE EVO BUT MY DRIVING WILL MAKE UP FOR THAT
I drove the STI and had it for 1/2 day!
I then drove an 06 GSR and MR then went to drive the STI again and took it home!
I had the mr for 1/2 day too!
The main difference for me is that the evo felt cheap! The power??????? needs MODS
I loved the STI new look and have no regrets.
After driving the MR so long I will tell non MR owners they neew to get some BIll SUSP.
nice car, my friend has an sti also and I test drove one before I made my purchase too. I think both cars are nice, I think you meant that the STi feels a little more refined, the evo is by no means cheap feeling, I think that between the two cars the evo is much more responsive in handling but sacrifices interior noise and vibrations. Thats where the STi differs, much more refined ride and a little nicer inside, but less room and the car is a pain in the *** to work on.

I like the new look of the STi though, just have to get used to it I guess

My 04' was good for 12.69 @ 108 with just TBE. Godspeed DP and Blitz Nurspec exh. 1.69 60' times.

Congrats on the awesome car!!! I may have had the same if the saleman and Mgr wasn't such idiots here. But I'm happy with my purchase now.

STi feels a bit more luxurious than the evo, it has softer seats. They both feel as if they grip the road the same. I have never driven either so no comment about that.

Clean ride BTW, I still dont like the way the second spoiler looks or the half altezza tailights, front end kinda grew on me.
