Worst cars to work on!!!
Try installing longtube headers on a modular motor mustang. On my 03 GT, it took me and 2 friends 12 hours to install the headers on a lift with air tools. Then one of the gaskets leaked so it took me and a buddy another 10 hours to replace it. You have to take out the entire front suspension and lower/raise the motor to get the headers in there. If we had to do it again, I think it could be done in half the time, but damn that was a PITA.
Porsche 944 Turbo, 928, Cayenne and Cayenne Turbo (Cayenne Turbo requires engine and trans removal just to replace the turbos)!
Any Ferrari pre 360, all Lamborghini's especially the Diablo and all Mercedes Benz post 2000 especially AMG models.
Both mark one and two Toyota Supra Turbos, mark MR2 Turbo and Nissan 300ZX Turbo.

Why does the convertible make it harder? Mine is a vert. And the cobra has the same block and front suspension so it shouldn't be any harder. In both cars, you have to disassemble and remove the front suspension and brakes, then drop the entire k-member (engine cradle). Then lower the engine to even get near the manifold bolts. I can't believe how hard it was to get to the bolts on those things. I had to use an open end S-wrench and move the nut 1/8 of a turn at a time, all while contorting your arms through the headers above your head.
I'm proud that I've done it when so many other pay $3-400 bucks to get them installed by a shop.
