Sure it's no evo, but hyundai (as a product) is waaay better than mitsubishi. Hyundai is knocking on the doors of toyota, nissan and honda with the cars, something mitsu will never do, atleast not in this life time. Their car are very reliable and have a great warranty - 10y/o or 100,000 miles. Hyundai can move units without insane rebates or free gas cards. When your mitsu break down on the side of the road, ull see that nice new reliable sonata or tibby pass you by,

bc they used to make crappy cars? ill admit the older hyundais were crappy cars. but the newer ones are making a comeback. i would rather take a sonata over a lancer (non-evo) any day

the hyundai sonata got best mid size sedan under 35k. and the hyundai azera got best mid-size sedan over 35k. plus top gear gave the tiburon better rating then the lexus sc430. they even compared the 2 and said the tiburon was better.

see i find it dumb how people lable it a bad car right from the get go because they see its made by hyundai.

isnt technically ur car is a mitshubishi mirage? isnt that where the lancer originated from? (dont quote me i could be wrong) but u dont see people bashing the evo bc it came from being a mirage... and the mirages sucked

now i dont want any trouble or anything im jus trying to back up what i know

but the tibby is n.a tho..so turboing the car will make it unreliable, and since the compression will be very low, wont it damage the car alot?

why is it everybody seems to wonder the same thing why are you asking on a mitsu/evo forum questions about a tib I did read your other thread since you are saying the tib is such a tight great reliable ride etc why isn't there more after market support why couldn't you find a local hyundai forum since there are so many of you?

I personally think Hyundai will accel as a company in the next 10 years. They are making good cars at a low cost now, and their design department is very good. I'm anxious to see their upcoming cars.

One reason I can say I bought a Mitsu is because I'm Japanese Plus, back a couple years ago, Hyundai didn't appeal that much. My opinion comes from the history of the company, the current situation of the company, and the future outlooks of the company. I'm not some shallow opinionated bastards that a lot of people seem to be

I don't see any reason for putting down this guy's project. I am always shocked to see how immature this forum is sometimes. People need to grow up, or take their mouths somewhere else.

Only hyundai i'd buy would be a tibby, but I don't need another coupe. If hyundais are dirt cheap, than mitsu must be the depth of hayti.

So now it's about respect ? Repaint your evo neon green, you sound like paul walker.

the original Hyunadai Excel hatchback that was a POS and sold in the late 80's was a REBADGED Mitsubishi sold outside the US--- go figure, so I gues that makes Mitsu POS too?

BTW RRM tunes Hyundais, go check their website, same guys that tune Lancers and sister company of RRE thats been around tuning DSM's

just my 02--
