Tranny Trouble

so i was driving down wolf in il and doin 50 when all the sudden i giv the car gas and it slows down in stead of up and then the gear disengages and engages into 2nd and now the car i got it home and after night the carr cooled down and i drove it fine shifting to 3rd but after the tranny warmed up again it would do the same thing and just stay in 2nd but revers and park work as well as nutruel also 2nd diengaes at random time when not accelerating and somethimes engages when accelerating no pattern found except it works fine when cool btw this car is a 1999 caravan with 4 tranny rebuilds the last 4 were i think the same problem you think it is the same does this sound expensive??? getting a evo se when they comeout anyways but my dad is not sure to keep it for insurance reasons and let it sit in the driveway or tradeit in for 700 dollars or a 500 tax deductable what will pay off the quickest.
