Be carefull because those turbokits are probably SS autochrome which are all POS's. Just get a nice S1X with an SR20 and do BPU mods.
Even though the SR is lower in displacement we always can get stroker kits
anyways yeah I would go with SR...i changed my mind hhahaGood luck.

Yeah but I've heard stories of SS autochrome turbo headers cracking under stress.. But not every header on ebay is an SS autochrome so there might be come good quality cheap ones.
Anyways, I've looked around a bit more and think I'll get a 97-99 gsx.. I like the way they look and really want the awd. But are the 6-bolt engines easy to swap in? Like could I do it myself in my garage with a couple tools and engine lift?

-95% of the time it will fail compared to other aftermarket parts like Blitz, HKS and apexi etc
-When selling your car...lets say for example a Supra. Well typically in the automotive industry the buyer (or myself) likes a car with known, good, stable parts. Hell, go into Supraforums and 99% of the cars have parts ranging from HKS to Blitz. Although sometimes these parts do fail; Greddy, Apexi, HKS etc have a lower chance of failing. Proof? Just go into 240 forums etc.
But im just basically giving my opinon, if you want to go the cheap way be prepared to have a budget to back it up incase something goes wrong. But everything goes wrong with aftermarket parts
