Post them up, I would love to see them. Did you give any consideration on keeping the twin turbo setup and upgrade the turbos? What size turbo are you going to be runing on the rb26, gt42r?

-2 downpipes
-1 "merge" downpipe
-2 hot pipes
-2 inlet pipes
-2 oil feed lines/drain lines/coolant lines
its just so much and so over complicated for the twins that it makes so much more sense to go to a divided twin scroll t4 inlet, single 4" downpipe/exh, single charge pipe, single inlet pipe, single air filter, etc
My car is designed to run the GT4088R and the GT42102R. Ill be trying both turbos out and use the one that i like the most. Im thinking it will be the 4088R as i can make just shy of 800whp on it and have instant spool/response

A cheaper/more unique option may be an RB30DET build.
People use the bottom end of an RB30 combined with either an RB26 or 25 head and get awesome results.
The RB30 only came out in the old R31 Skylines as well as an Australian car known as the Holden Commodore between '86-'88 (give or take) and this was known as the VL model. It's just a 3L inline six and only came out with a SOHC 12 valve head afaik.
Yeah they're old engines but you're rebuilding the engine anyway. And you could buy a good RB30 for like $100.
One guy bought an RB30, rebuilt it to factory specs, used a completely stock cylinder head from an RB25DE (DE = non-turbo) and cranked 500WHP through it and compaigned it successfully for a couple of years. www.rips.co.nz
Another guy did the same thing using a cheap RB30 He found at pick-a-part for $50. His was only making 460-ish HP in a tube frame car but it ran I think high 9's or maybe 10's. He's since rebuilt it running a T51R.
With this you also have the option of using the RB26 Head, or using a cheap-as-chips RB25 head that'll probably work just as well. Although, RB26 is designed more for high-RPM abuse.
Just remember, you'll also need the box from an RB25DET. These were 2WD and are stronger than the GT-R boxes.

Tein suspension has a track-spec S15 with an RB26 but I've never seen it in action.
