BMW 335i dyno numbers (video in link).
Look like BMW finally has embraced the beauty of forced induction.
Finally no more overpriced Dinan & Active Autowerke aftermarket forced induction.

I was surprised by the numbers.
The car looks like a nice bargain; by BMW overpriced standards though.

Honestly, i was expecting the 335i to be a little bit more. Afterall, this thing is comparable to a M3 (NA V8) and it will likely be much more mod friendly. Starting MSRP is 42k, but options and everything, it should be closer to 50k out the door

Evo's are nice and fast cars... but the BMW has the solid "road-feel" that many Japanese cars can't seem to produce... can't wait to get the 335i and strap it on the dyno

I forgot to mention the BMW 2002 Turbo.
It's a car I was not aware of until I read an article in European Car magazine a couple of years back.
$50,000 for a 335i is a good amount of money.
I really hate that most BMW's have a laundry list of pricey options.
Like you I really like the feel of BMW's (and most German cars for that matter); they just feel more solid and connected to the road.
It must be all te sound deadning material shielding the creaks and squeaks.
Keep us posted on your 335i.

??BMW is teh heavy.
Well you cant drive a rental property now can you????
And you cant drive the 335i yet either , as those waiting for them will have to wait longer.
The EPA is holding all the 335i's in port now. The car isnt passing emisions, and boy people that have deposits on these cars are rather hotttttttttttttt!

How much u think the 335i weights? I have no idea b/c the numbers are not out yet. Even if the car is a few hundred pounds heavier than the evo, it is still going to give the Evo a good run (didn't say it was going to beat it).
People are so darn uptight these days... man, o man...
Chill out and let's just have a nice discussion... Don't have to win all the time.
