Ferrari

if u had the chance to buy a ferrari 2000 f550 coupe for less than 30,000 that had minor some front end damage
would u buy it?
i have a source where i can get the parts from also to fix it
shouldnt i be able to make a ton?

From what I've found, crashed/salvaged ferraris are really hard to get rid of, and the parts are rediculously expensive. Be careful what you get yourself into.

Sounds like the car was totalled.

That "minor" damage probably will cost more than the car is worth to repair, and even then, no one wants to buy a Ferrari that might not be 100% straight.

Run away from that deal.

slightly twisted frame could cause you to loose control at high speeds, you never know how the car would react. RUN!

actually i considered that, hell its a ferrari, but i dont want to risk it yet without some assurance its frame is in good condition, oh nd the interior is

I actually have a friend who's uncle buys crashed Ferrari's and restores them, then keeps them for personal use; even races them. He has like 8 Ferrari's i think, and he is just on average income. I guess he must have a good hook up on parts or something... But he bends the frames back and does all the work himself.

ive been doing kind of the same thing with a good friend of mine who buys them and then fixes cars cheap(no idea where he gets the parts) nd i wanted to do the same to this one but we've never attempted a ferrari

Or you could part it out. I don't know if there's much of a market for ferrari parts though...
