What do you think the outcome of this race would be in a 1/4 and roll
The curb weight of the Z06 is about 3300 and the V is close to 3900. Thats about a 600lb difference with simliarities in power, but what do you think the margin would be between the 2 cars in a race

I would say a good amount. The corvette is most likely geared better for it, and is aerodynamicly better, also 600 lbs is A LOT.

I have an 06 cts-v (ls2) and with a corsa cat-back it dynoed at 341. I am not sure about the vette's gearing but I have a 3.73 rearend.
The vette would have it by about 5-6 lengths easy though if not more.

same motor in each right(almost at least)?gearing aero and weight will play a huge role. Z06 by a ton dig and roll. 110 traps to 116+

Z06 all day. CTS-V are just to heavy! With just exhaust and tune on my evo back in the day i pulled CTS-V. Now its bus lengths.

I drove a Z06 and its the most impressive car I've ever been in. The acceleration is truly incredible. A better comparison might be between a regular Corvette and the Caddy. Although I suspect that even the regular vette could take it.
thanks for ur input. I figured the outcome would be in favor of the Z, but by how much was what I was interested in knowing. Now i just gotta figure out how to swap in a C6 interior

i also looked at some times of bone stock z06s breaking into the 11s, 11.7s-low 12s were average!
