oh well - people will never learn. i have run out of sympathy. there have been too many of these stories this year.

Maybe not the manslaughter charge but i agree with the gross neglegence charge at the least.

That is not an Armenian name. They are Persian (Iranian). The last name has IAN, but they are actually Persian. Its so sad. giving your 18 yo kid a 55K fast car isnt loving them.

Damn very sad=(...I feel for the parents. Kids these days just take things for granted. In the end the parents are the ones that have to suffer the most. I hope this is a lesson to all the young kids out there. I'm sure this is not the last that we hear about teen fatal car crashes and street racing!!! Keep off the streets!!! Why are teenagers driving high powered cars such as M3's, Evos and Sti's!!! High speed and inexperience don't mix!!! Parents take note!!!

Youth+Speed= Trouble

Personally, when I heard this on the radio I thought the manslaughter charge was garbage.

Typical OC rich kids, I've seen/known way too many of them. They think they are the center of the universe because their parents have too much money and instead of rasing their kids with care, they throw money at thier kids.

18yr old with a M3, cant even handle it and plows off the road doing 90? With two passengers none the less? Darwinism at its finest.

The manslaughter charges are bull**** to boot.

I agree with you wholeheartedly.

The law in CA (ok I don't know the exact wording but...) states that if you are involved in a street racing incident... whether you instigated it, were speeding, or whatever... you are LIABLE. Since this particular incident involved a fatality, the other driver was liable for his death. Sad but true.... don't get involved in a street race unless you are prepared to deal with the consequences... not just your own outcome, but that of the OTHER DRIVER.

these kids today think they are invincible. you'd think that after so many incidents like this that they'd learn, but obviously the only time they actually learn is when it happens to them and sometimes by then it's too late. hard to feel sorry for people like that, especially when they are putting other people's lives at risk.

Yeah, I jsut read it on FOX11, whoooooa... crazy. RIP to the M3 driver, and I hope the girls pull through! I don't think the CLK55 guy deserves the charges, a bit too harsh.

Wow, this is very sad to see. Fast cars and inexperience. My condolences to their families.

I dont feel sorry for rich kids being dumb and getting killed, sorry. Blame the parents for buying them $60k fast cars. But yes, the manslaughter charge is BS.

the only innocent people are the girls that were in the car....everyone else deserved what they got.

Inexperience + 300hp = game over

i really don't wish death on anybody (except rapist and murderers) but i have to say that this kind of thing will continue to go on as long as parents keep giving such powerful cars to their retarded kids. i seriously think that there should be a law that you can not drive a car with more than say 100hp untill you have had your liscence for at least 2-3 years and even then, you have to pass some sort of test. this won't solve the street racing problem but it will at least allow us to make sure that people have the basics skills.

Ffing retards man. If they were racing a Civic or anything else they probably would've been fine. I have no sympathy for kids with AMG or M3. Their parents should've bought extra airbags.

Not to attack your post totally, but we really don’t need any more redundant laws on the books, especially in CA. Don’t even get me started on the asinine firearm laws in this communist state.

We don’t need the government to make people do right and wrong. We need kids to have a fear of their parents, and a fear for wrongdoing in general. Jesus, no one has common sense these days I swear.

It really boils down to lack of parenting. I have been a personal trainer in the Orange County area for a few years. In that time I have seen so many parent who could care less what little Jimmy or Becky are doing.

They are too wrapped up in their BS plastic, fake *** life to care what is really important. Instead of talking to their kids about what is right and wrong they hand them money so they don’t have to deal with anything. I use to think all those reality OC TV shows were BS. Well they really aren’t that far from the truth.

Hell I'm only 26 and want nothing to do with having kids. I think I'm just a big kid myself sometimes. Parenting in this part of the state, and for the most part this country, is a lost art.
